Coming Together as One Proposal

We are happy to share that the community driven community safety proposal has been approved by Public Safety Canada! Public Safety Canada asked if GGC would take the lead in coordinating the project and we said yes, of course. 

Four community facilitators, one for each community, will be hired soon to begin the community engagement process to create a community safety plan and define Gitksan Wellbeing from a community perspective. The project runs from September to March 2015. Much thanks to the many hands that made this happen!
